The CNVC/NVC-O Community is an idea working its way towards becoming a reality.
It’s a place for people who care about Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and who are in alignment with a shared vision, purpose and mission, to:
In the Community:
- Connect
- Learn about each other
- Connect and interact with one another
- Form groups
- Let people know about both existing NVC groups, and newly formed groups
- Share information
- Access resources to support
- Experiencing community together
- Practicing NVC
- Participate in events
- Events to support learning
- Events to support connection
In relation to the organisation embedded in the Community:
- Learn about CNVC/NVC-O
- An international NVC organisation arising from the evolution of the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) into a new form, sometimes referred to as NVC-O, whose features were outlined in CNVC’s New Future Plan.
- Engage with the implementation of CNVC/NVC-O
- Read about what’s happening, watch videos, listen to audio, observe meetings.
- Become an active Contributor participating in the creation of a dynamic new way of operating!
It’s mostly about providing a context where it is easier to connect, and where resources are more easily shared.
Many of the bullet points above currently exist only if you squint your eyes and use your imagination. Some learning events are already being scheduled, and some other features are being actively worked on. We hope that more and more concrete support to realise these ideas will be emerging… as fast as volunteers emerge to make it all happen!
